表 示不介意的正確回答應是"No"或"Of course not"或"Go ahead"。婉轉的拒絕可說:"Well, actually, I'd prefer you didn't/not to."如回答"Yes"則表示"是的,我介意。"中國學生應該注意,以免引起誤會。

這里的do代表動詞原形。

eg. Some consumers prefer imported cars (to those hat are home-made)
