冬至是中國傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日之一，其來歷可以追溯到上古時期的夏歷歷法。在古代，人們觀察到冬至日子越來越短，太陽高度越來越低，認(rèn)為這是陰氣逐漸升高的表現(xiàn)，于是就將冬至定為陰陽交接之日，也是陽氣重新開始增長的日子。冬至也被視為家庭團圓的節(jié)日，人們在這一天會一家人聚在一起，吃湯圓、糯米飯等傳統(tǒng)食品，感受溫馨和諧的氛圍。

Winter Solstice, or Dongzhi in Chinese, is one of the traditional festivals in China. Its origin can be traced back to the ancient Xia calendar system. In ancient times, people observed that the day of Winter Solstice was getting shorter and the sun was getting lower, and they believed that this was a sign of increasing Yin Qi. Therefore, Winter Solstice was designated as a day when Yin and Yang intersected, and it was also a day when Yang Qi began to grow again. Winter Solstice is also considered a family reunion festival, and people gather together with their families to eat traditional foods such as glutinous rice balls and sticky rice, to feel the warm and harmonious atmosphere.
