長城是中國歷史上最為著名的建筑之一，也是世界上最長的城墻。它的總長度約為21,196千米，跨越了中國北方的多個省份，起點(diǎn)在河北省的山海關(guān)，終點(diǎn)在陜西省的嘉峪關(guān)。長城建造的歷史可以追溯到公元前7世紀(jì)，但是大部分的墻體是在明朝時(shí)期（14至17世紀(jì)）修建的。

The Great Wall is one of the most famous architectural wonders in Chinese history and also the longest wall in the world. It stretches a total length of approximately 21,196 kilometers, spanning across multiple provinces in northern China. The starting point is Shanhaiguan in Hebei Province, and the ending point is Jiayuguan in Shaanxi Province. The construction of the Great Wall can be traced back to the 7th century BC, but most of the wall was built during the Ming Dynasty (14th to 17th century).
